The Blue Lagoon cocktail appeared in the middle of the XX century and became a symbol of tropical resorts and beach parties. According to one version, the cocktail was created in France by bartender Andy McElhoney, who worked in the famous Parisian bar “Harry’s New York Bar”. The name of the drink is inspired by the movie of the same name “Blue Lagoon” (1949), which describes adventures on a tropical island.

Ingredients:
- 50 ml vodka
- 20 ml Blue Curaçao liqueur
- 100 ml lemonade (sprite or soda water)
- Ice
- A slice of lemon or lime for garnish
