Bavarian Coffee cocktail

Recipe: Bavarian Coffee (Original Bavarian Version)

Ingredients:

  • Espresso coffee — 50 ml
  • Schnapps (e.g., plum, pear, or apricot) — 30 ml
  • Coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa) — 20 ml
  • Whipped cream — 30–50 ml
  • Grated chocolate or cinnamon — for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the coffee. Brew a strong espresso or any high-quality black coffee.
  2. Mix the alcohol. In a heatproof glass, pour the schnapps and coffee liqueur.
  3. Add the coffee. Pour the hot coffee into the glass with the alcohol and gently stir.
  4. Top with whipped cream. Carefully add a layer of whipped cream on top to keep it separate from the drink.
  5. Garnish. Finish the drink by sprinkling grated chocolate or a pinch of cinnamon on top.

💡 Tip: Choose a schnapps flavor that suits your preference, but plum or pear schnapps are traditional Bavarian choices.
